Weekend Away

Each year in September we plan a two-night sleepover.

In 2023 we visited Skirfare Bunk Barn in Wharfedale and we climbed Pen-Y-Ghent hill.

In 2024 we stayed at the Old School Bunkhouse in Ingleton, and we walked up Ingleborough Hill and followed the famous waterfall trail

In 2025, we will be going further afield to Haggs Barn Bunkhouse at Alston in the north Pennines. The trip will be from Friday 12 -14 September. We plan to walk along Hadrian's Wall and explore the waterfall of Upper Teesdale.

There is a supplementary charge to cover transport and accommodation. Places are limited and full members receive priority.

The walks during this weekend will be Grade 4 and 5.
