Our Weekly Walks

  • Monday Walks

    Leader – Errol Hamlet

    These are fairly informal and spontaneous rambles. A loosener to shake off the effects of the weekend. Mainly Grade 3.

  • Tuesday Walks

    Leader – Lilly Wright or Martyn Hicks

    A more structured and planned hike. Usually between 4 and 8 miles mostly Moderate walks with a leader and backmarker. Some walks are Intermediate or may have some scrambling. Grades 4 and 5.

  • Thursday Walks

    Leader – Phil Wood

    A more structured and planned hike. Usually between 4 and 7 miles mostly Moderate walks with a leader and backmarker. Some walks are Intermediate or may have some scrambling. Grades 4 and 5.

    NB On the First Thursday of every month we will plan longer walks of 7 to 9 miles in more far-flung places, taking up morning and most of the afternoon. We will visit locations with quite level terrain and good paths, with the aim of walking at a faster and more regular pace than usual.

  • Saturday Walks

    Leader – Pedro Welch or Errol Hamlet

    Easy walks recommended for new starters and those with limited mobility, often along canal banks or around reservoirs. Grades 1,2 and 3.
