For your own safety we collect the following information. Your name, your mobile telephone number your email (not compulsory)and close family members name and number in case of accident.

In order that we comply with Data Protection regulations we require an acknowledgement signature on the membership form.

You are responsible for your own ability, if a walk gets too much, don’t worry, its OK to bail out and a member (or members) will make sure you get back safely.

Leaders and some members have been on Basic First Aid courses.

Meetings for all are every 8 weeks (usually the first Thursday of the month FEB, APR, JUNE, AUG, OCT, DEC….held at the Jubilee Centre in Paddock HD1 4SH. Starting at 9.15am we discuss future plans and are joined by invited guests who may talk about things like Nature, The environment on routes, Wellbeing, Health checks, Physiotherapy or Yoga.

Tea Coffee and biscuits are on hand …sometimes even cake, we love cake bringers.

We hold an insurance policy…public liability, which covers Lillians bullet points here

We do not carry personal injury insurance, the payouts are very low on group policies. Many of you might already be covered on your own policies, the pay outs are far better if you take out your own.

Children may join the walks but the responsibility is vested with the guardian or parent who must accompany them on the walk.

Insurance

If you walk on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays or Saturday and prefer to pay as you go its £2 per walk, payable to the leader at the start of the walk.

If you want to pay for a full year its £104 and you can walk as many times as you want.

Nobody makes a bean, we all volunteer the money and sponsorship covers mostly travel costs.

If you join during the year its £104 divided by 52 x however many weeks there are before July 31st

There is a one off joining fee of £10 which gets you a We in Front T Shirt which we wear with pride at meetings and when we are interviewed.
